Serene Homestead is a game where you build the layout of your home and furnish it by manipulating objects directly on the screen. The appeal comes from the freedom of decision: you choose the placement of the main rooms, then you adjust the space so that it functions as you intend. Bedroom, living room, bathroom: these zones become modules that you position, which prompts you to think about circulation, balance and the logic of a plan that "holds." Then you move on to dressing the space, selecting furniture and decorative elements to define a style.
Mechanically, everything relies on a clear and constant interaction. On computer, a click selects, then you drag the object to the desired area; on mobile, you tap to choose and move with your finger to place. This system encourages iteration: you test, you move, you compare, until you obtain the arrangement that suits you.
