Maldives Hidden Objects is based on a simple rule: first you examine a static scene, then you find the requested objects in the image until the list is complete. Each tableau represents a stage of the journey, from preparations at home to time by the water, which renews the backdrops and the areas to inspect. You can enlarge the image to check the tightest corners and move your view so nothing remains off screen. The goal is not only to see quickly, but to recognise shapes sometimes blended into the environment. Depending on the chosen mode, you are not looking for the same visual cues, as the presentation of objectives changes and forces you to adapt your method.
Then the game becomes a sequence of observation choices. You can sweep the whole scene to spot the obvious items first, or on the contrary clear one area after another to avoid omissions. If an element resists, you must persist, change scale, compare outlines and reread the request, otherwise you risk going in circles. In case of blockage, a magnifying glass can guide you to an object, but since this aid is not unlimited, it is better to keep it for moments when your search stalls. Failure does not come from a timer nor from immediate punishment, since the game lets you think calmly.
