I am Crazy Bird puts you in the skin of an urban bird moving freely in a fully open city, where roofs, streets, power lines and passersby are all playgrounds to exploit. First, you take to the air and choose your altitude: fly low to interact with the crowd or gain height to observe the city before diving on a target. You can pick up objects scattered in the environment, carry them or drop them wherever you like, and trigger a special ability to amplify the disorder. If you neglect to watch your surroundings or delay your action, a passerby can take back what you just stole, and the situation will get away from you.
Then comes the progression logic: structured missions set concrete objectives for you to complete in order to earn experience and rank up, turning each session into a series of tactical decisions. Should you prioritize completing a mission or take advantage of a chaos opportunity that presents itself right now? The wacky weapons available in the game-objects as unexpected as they are outlandish-add an extra variable to every situation. Between full freedom in sandbox mode and objective-oriented challenges, you choose at every moment how you want to play. Otherwise, you can simply sit on a passerby's head and watch their reaction.
