Claw Master - Roguelike Hero is built on a clear idea: you explore dangerous dungeons using a claw to retrieve what will allow your hero to continue. First, you grab on the playfield weapons, resources, bonuses and various rewards. Then you go fight monsters in levels that change from one attempt to another. The objective is to go ever further, to survive the most risky rooms and to defeat the bosses that block progression. Otherwise, if you pick up items poorly suited to the situation or if your build lacks power, you quickly find yourself overwhelmed by the difficulty. The game therefore asks you to combine skill and thought, because it is not enough to take a lot of loot, you must above all take the right items.
Then, all the richness comes from the decisions you take after each stage. You select new abilities, you upgrade your hero and progressively assemble a build capable of responding to the dangers encountered. Some runs favor an effective arsenal from the start, others rely more on the accumulation of bonuses or on a more cautious progression before the big fights. The game also varies by the presence of hidden treasures to discover during exploration, which rewards attention as much as survival. The deeper you go, the stronger the enemies become, but the rewards follow this rise in risk. You must therefore decide between moving quickly, securing your equipment, or attempting a more ambitious combination of skills to prolong the run. Have fun!
