2248 - Merge & Slash
2248 - Merge & Slash is built around creating tile chains to damage the monsters that come one after another. First, you select two tiles of the same level. Then you extend your path with tiles whose levels increase, following the progression allowed by the rules of 2248. The more tiles the combination contains and the higher the levels it reaches, the more powerful the resulting attack. You must therefore choose between taking a small chain immediately or waiting for a more rewarding layout, risking the loss of a better opportunity on the grid.
The end of your chain matters just as much as its length, since its final tile determines the attack's element and adds extra damage. Otherwise, a combination that is too short or a poor sequence may not be enough to eliminate the enemy, forcing you to rethink your priorities for the next battle. Chains longer than five tiles have a chance to activate bonuses such as critical hits, stuns, or life steal. By defeating opponents, you earn experience and coins. You can then spend those coins to increase your health, strengthen elemental damage, or improve your chances of triggering special effects. The difficulty increases with more dangerous enemies, requiring you to balance preparation, immediate power, and lasting upgrades. Have fun!
